If these walls could speak…

The Department of Housing and Community Services wanted to publish a book, ’If these walls could speak…’, explaining the history of Canberra’s first luxurious apartment building, through stories told by previous tenants.
The design concept had to facilitate the use of a wide variety of different imagery, such as professional photography, architectural blueprints, historical documents and private snapshots. The apartment building’s brick walls and their colours became a solid foundation for the design concept and layout grid.
